Nrz vs. Rz: Performance Analysis for Fiber- Optic Cdma

چکیده

Non-Return-to-Zero (NRZ) and Return-to-Zero (RZ) are two basic formats in WDM optical communication systems. Over the years, many modifications to these two basic formats have been proposed. Since the system performance analysis of Optical CDMA systems is mainly degraded with the multiple access interference (MAI), hence the role of an optimum modulation format in the presence of MAI needs to be explored. In this paper, the comparative analysis of NZ and RZ is hence presented through simulation of a real-like optical CDMA system.
